Information you provide us directly by registering for an event or by submitting a message via our contact form or email address:

  • Name, contact details and email address, date of visit, communications.

  • Information about website usage through cookies in accordance with our Cookies Policy.

2. We use your personal information to:

Respond to your requests,enquiries, comments or concerns;

  • Notify you about changes or updates to BLCV events;

  • Share with Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google") to understand how visitors engage with our website and so we can improve it. You can view Google’s Privacy Policy and find out how you can opt out of Google Analytics via your browser;

  • Maintain records of event attendees, and share these with NHS Test and Trace where requested for COVID19 contact tracing.

  • Comply withour legal obligations.

3. Mailing policy

When you send us an email or us our contact form, we will use your email address to reply to your communication, and we will store your communication and our reply for any future correspondance. When you register to attend an event, we will email you to:

  • confirm your place or otherwise notify you have been added to a waiting list,

  • remind you about the event,

  • notify you about updates to or cancellation of the event,

  • contact and notify you if NHS Test and Trace identifies a possible exposure to the coronavirus.

Beyond our initial communication or that directly related to the event you have registered for as outlined above, we will never use your email address to send you any unsolicited message or information.

Our Privacy Notice may be updated from time to time. Any updates will appear on this webpage. This notice was last updated in October 2020.
